Helping you to support students and teachers

I work with Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as Further Education institutions, to support learners from pre-school to adulthood.

I pride myself on supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to reach their potential. I am sensitive to the many challenges that schools and staff experience due to the complex demands placed upon the, in an increasingly difficult educational world.

I regularly run inclusive and informative training and INSET for schools on several topics, including “Children Experiencing Neurodiversity”, “Understanding and Developing Children’s Emotional Regulation”, as well as “Exploring The Amazing Teenage Brain”.

Bespoke training is always on offer and I’m happy to talk through your requirements to see how I can support you and your staff.

In addition, I offer reflective supervision and coaching for the leadership team and individual staff members.

My services

We work with staff or parents to raise awareness and develop skills in working effectively with children and young people, including those with particular additional needs such as Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, behavioural emotional and social difficulties and dyslexia.

We offer one-to-one coaching for SEND staff and other teachers who need a space to work through their challenges and get specialist advice for dealing with their students.

We run training and INSET on a number of topics, including supporting and recognising mental health difficulties in pupils, supporting children who may experience social and communication difficulties as well as Literacy and Numeracy Support.

I offer supervision and consultation for senior leaders and executive teams, creating a supportive and confidential space to reflect on leadership challenges and decision-making.

Using an integrative psychological approach, I draw on a range of perspectives to support understanding, growth, and development, alongside a solution-focused focus on strengths and practical next steps. I work collaboratively with leaders to build clarity, confidence, and insight, helping them to reach their potential and lead with greater purpose and
effectiveness.

Our assessments are thorough and comprehensive, keeping the whole child and their context in mind. We make evidence-informed recommendations, based on the best hopes for the child/young person. These are identified through our consultation process, which always involves parents and school.

We also hold staff in mind, providing compassion-focused individual and group supervision. These reflective thinking spaces can provide a much-needed confidential forum for staff to address pragmatically how to move forward with a situation in their work life, but also be honest about the impact on them as a human being.
